Territory NFP is celebrating our milestone Tenth Anniversary with Strutting in Our Territory

You are invited to be part of our banner year as we showcase the creativity of Territory participants, share gratitude with the people who have shaped us - youth, neighbors, partners, collaborators, donors - and demonstrate the power of the community of Austin that is our home. Help Territory create spaces where youth can sit, stand, and strut without stigma or stereotyping, and where design helps young people and our communities thrive.

Strutting in our Territory ~ Sneaker Ball

Thursday November 5, 2026
Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center (SRBCC)

Celebrating a decade of youth-led design, empowerment, and community transformation with dancing, speeches, blasts from the past, a view to the future, and more!

You’re invited to join us as we “Strut in our Territory” moving through the spaces we’ve designed, shaped, and made more just—on our terms. For the last decade, Chicago youth have taken back the narrative—not with protest signs, but with renderings, street furniture, park upgrades, bus stop redesigns, and public art that says: We live here. We matter. We build.

For our 10th anniversary, we are showing off and reclaiming our community. From Albany Park to Austin, Chicago youth have bene creating spaces that welcome all in our communities. Your donations during our campaign year will help us to continue this work.

Come out and STRUT with us, reflect on 10 years changing the way Chicagoans see and experience their beloved spaces.
